How to perform and submit cpu benchmarks.

I found the benchmark.results.txt file. Is that where I get benchmark values to submit for cpu benchmarks? Or is there a menu function to run benchmarks. I cannot find any means to submit benchmarks on the website. How is this function performed?

Obviously this is not a common problem, as nothing is produced relating to it in 'search'. Thanks for all the help.

Benchmarks are automatically sent to the server -- which does not do much with the data.

How meaningful are old style benchmark results nowadays? Since we are usually memory bound today, wouldn't it be a nice idea to have a new benchmark database e.g. keeping the best throughput (iterations/s) for different FFTs, but additionally saving the worker and threads-per-worker values, that gave the best throughput?

That's certainly not a small amount of work; but should we at least think about this?

Throughput benchmarks are sent to the server (for the last several prime95 versions). There are no web pages to display any of that data.
