Check it out. A nice, big, round number.

It's Prime, and that's what counts.

I just found my largest prime ever, 1195203*2^1195203-1 (359399 digits). It is a Woodall prime, in the form k*2^k-1. It is the largest known of that form and comes from many months of primality testing. Even better yet is that it is the largest prime found with help of my MultiSieve program.

Over the weekend, I found this 100070 digit prime: Phi(3,-1642659500503^4096)

on my 2.5 GHz G5. AFAIK, it is the only prime on Chris Caldwell's list that has been found with a PowerPC CPU. More information can be found in another thread.

Usually, things like this are posted in the "Happy Me Thread":
http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=2592

But congratulations. It took me over a year to find my first factor, and I still haven't found my second!

I found the 19th largest known generalized Fermat divisor (base=6) today!

931*2^155216 + 1 divides GF(155215, 6)

My first top twenty prime! My first "comment" prime! My first GF divisor!
