Do you have any idea how long it will take the mighty GIMPS to complete [104M,168M]? I think you'll have to be patient and wait a good while for the next Mersenne prime if exponent p is beyond that range. Oh there could one tomorrow

I'll tell you what, since you seem to really believe in luck: Tell me which number in that range that is most likely to be prime and I'll run it on a Radeon VII. If it turns out to be prime, I'll split the prize and recognition with you.

But what if it's composite? What do I get out of the deal?

I've thought about this question for a while. The problem is whether will the Mersenne server be able to handle the money transactions correctly.

So if I pay $10 and submit 4 M168,***,*23 exponents and given the condition they've all reached the PRP ready status(NF to 2^78 and NF-PM1), then the PRP testers will start the process, but will only be able to get the payments upon the successful completions of the PRPs and after passing the PRP-Certs.

Tell, you what, you pay me $5 and give me 3 exponents, I do the PRP for them and if cert passes, I keep the money, otherwise I return the money to you. Your offer is 50% worse for you, so I offer you a much better deal, but the catch is that you pay me the money first. Paypal or BTC or ETH is ok. For sure some forum members here which are more trustable than me and you may act as escrow.

Unless you are posting specific guesses according to the rules, do not pollute this thread with your 168M range delusions. If you do post about the range again and not a specific guess according to the rules, all of your posts in this thread that include 168 that will get vapourised.Go somewhere else to troll.
