I am now reserving (3*107^4900-1)/2 with Primo, this is the screenshot.
I have a plan to reserve these numbers: * generalized Sierpinski and generalized Riesel conjectures: (3*107^4900-1)/2 [R107] (133*100^5496-1)/33 [R100] (27*91^5048-1)/2 [R91] (79*73^9339-1)/6 [R73] (11*256^5702+1)/3 [S256] (191*105^5045+1)/8 [S105] * First generalized repunit prime to given positive base: (96^3343-1)/95 [second prime, first prime to base 96 is 97] (174^3251-1)/173 (230^5333-1)/229 (244^3331-1)/243 (284^2473-1)/283 (312^3373-1)/311 [second prime, first prime to base 312 is 313] (360^2609-1)/359 (469^5987-1)/468 (499^4691-1)/498 (515^2243-1)/514 (517^2887-1)/516 * First generalized repunit prime to given negative base: (150^6883+1)/151 (205^5449+1)/206 (311^2707+1)/312 (313^4451+1)/314 (318^6733+1)/319 (340^7001+1)/341 (356^7937+1)/357 (381^6659+1)/382 (421^5101+1)/422 (423^2417+1)/424 (479^4079+1)/480 (504^5059+1)/505 * First dual Williams prime to given base: 71^3019-70 217^2393-216 * Numbers related to puzzle 887: 287^3410-2 755^2436-2 (also a related number 107^3473+2) * Minimal prime to given base: (3*17^4663+1109)/8 [base 17] (31*17^7092-15)/16 [base 17] (886*19^9291-1)/3 [base 19] 14*19^16415+381 [base 19] FFF{K}C {F}KC II{E}L {G}9 [base 23] (242*28^4241-4679)/9 [base 28] 25*36^3934-901 [base 36] * Smallest prime of the form n^p-(n-1)^p for given n: 107^6529-106^6529 125^5167-124^5167 188^5647-187^5647 325^4463-324^4463 352^4871-351^4871 363^3037-362^3037 356^2887-355^2887 Last fiddled with by sweety439 on 2021-06-18 at 02:07 |

Why do you want to reserve several dozen numbers when this first one will take you several months, huh? That, in itself, is only a consequence of you stubbornly running a discontinued software which other people only keep around to quickly do some 300-1000 digit numbers. Advice - learn virtualization. Learn how cross-platform software runs. Learn how to simply hire a computer as needed, run a task and then release it (a computer of OS that you actually need for the task, and leave this windows computer for other, more fitting tasks). Then, you could thank yourself later for making the effort. |

Hi Norman,
Do you want Marcel to block us as users from his site (which is the only site that distributes his software)? He can. Marcel has a serious issue with Microsoft and deliberately destroyed his own software. Talk to him. Marcel was sued by Microsoft (!). Do you think it left him happy? Do you see now why he destroyed it? P.S.. In addition - who was that post even targeted at? Did you look at the screenshot? Sweety is already running it. So who was it for? |

Hello Serge,
thanks for your explanations. This was unwitting by me. My english is not so good to understand each text by only reading. >Did you look at the screenshot? Okay, I see it, but I wasn't it ! Last fiddled with by Cybertronic on 2021-06-14 at 08:04 |

Understood. The license for many products is written very similar: if someone has obtained the product, they can run it on their risk even after it is discontinued. But users cannot transfer product. Such is the license.
It is separate from the cost of the license. License could be free but still non-transferrable. We had previously had the same debate (unrelated) about PDFs of manuscripts and entire books. Aaron Swartz was in serious trouble for transfer of "sort of" free content (or, surely, in his reasoning it was free; and he had best intentions). |

Primo for windows was discontinued many many years ago. The Primo of that era had lesser capabilities than the Primo of today. Batalov spelled this out for your a few posts above. Please re-read any of his posts that quote yours, and do what he tells you if you wish to prove any of these numbers from your list. Windows software won't cut it, period. |
