If there's a way downhill away from that wall, you might want to run some drainage tile from the downspouts to direct roof runoff away from the foundation. |

I don't know if this is of any value to you, but here in the Caribbean, we very often use "soakaways" to manage standing surface water. Mosquitos are serious vectors down here...
Just to share some levity... Down here soakaways are usually called "wells". That can be very "entertaining" when you have engineers from both here and "away" using the same nomenclature for *very* different things on the same project...

I figured out this morning that the little shrub with the red berries growing in my backyard is "Heavenly Bamboo" - which ... is NOT actually a bamboo. Nandina is the genus. Not only that, all parts of the plant are toxic to wildlife. Grr.
