But if the problem is known, than the fix is easy: you take any 3V power supply or battery (two AA or AAA in series) solder two wires to the probes or needles you use at multimeter, or use crocodiles, etc., connect in parallel with old battery, replace battery (use the probes like chopsticks to keep the contact with one hand, during you change the battery with the other, we used this method to replace a battery of a pin generator for the bank which was issued 10 years ago by our bank in Ro, which we never visited ever since; we read on the web that you can not remove the battery, the sequence will reset and you must visit the bank, which is 10 thousand kilometers away, so we measured the voltage, connected a power supply to it, changed the battery; two times in 10 years; still works today).

Authorities say no one was driving Tesla before deadly crash

HOUSTON (AP) - Two people were killed in Texas in the fiery crash of a Tesla and authorities say there was no one in the driver's seat at the time of the crash, although it's not clear whether the car's driver-assist system was being used.

A Harris County constable told television stations in Houston that there was a person in the front passenger seat and another in a rear passenger seat after the wreck Saturday night in the Houston suburb of Spring.

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said authorities are certain that no one was driving the car at the time of the crash.

Peloton has suspended providing "Just Run" service to its Tread+ customers unless they get a Peloton Membership.

In an email sent to a user, the company stated "safety and well-being" as a reason behind this move.

Great, thanks for thinking of the users and not just using it as a ploy to make money.

It isn't imminently clear how does the introduction of a subscription model enhances customers' safety and well-being.

I'm a little confused by the price. A number of articles say their top of the line Tread+ is $4300, but Peloton introduced a "far more affordable" $2500 model.

Reviews say the thing is well-made, but that doesn't mean much if the company sabotages it so it doesn't work.

"As a reminder, under the terms of our voluntary recall, Tread+ owners can return their Tread+ for a full refund by contacting Member support," a Peloton spokesperson told BleepingComputer.

I relish the thought of Peloton being inundated with requests for this. Call me overly cynical, but I do wonder who would have to pay for carting off the bricked treadmill.
