My older son (a college sophomore) has been hired as an intern for my employer in software development. He will be working in a different part of the organization than I am in. I'm about as proud as a parent can be.

I received clapping at a three day conference where I presented on Prime Constellations. The Oregon Association for community college teachers met near the beach. Good times.

Bought an old programming book for a mere $5, which arrived yesterday. Turns out it's autographed by one of the authors, and at first glance appears in excellent condition otherwise.

If it is the signed first edition of The C Programming Language from Dennis Ritchie one of the Developer of the C Language it may be worth something.

I've got (or more precisely my mom) this book (most probably - it's called the same, and it's from Brian W. Kernighan and Dennis M. Ritchie), however in Slovak, and not signed.
