I note your query does not specify a country. I'm not sure what "bears the exact full name" means. There are people on Facebook who go by that name.

Similar first names Marion, Marvin, Martin. Similar surnames, Merson, Mersen.

Looking up the first name Marin, Namepedia gives a list of famous people named Marin. The name "Marin Mersenne" is conspicuously absent.

I note that, coincidentally, the older priest in The Exorcist was named Father Merrin.
