Running factoring on one computer

Thanks, that's pretty much what I needed. If my factoring computer finds a factor of Mp, will the corresponding exponent automatically get deleted from my LL computer?

No.

Remember that everything that I said to do above has to be done manually.

Also, I would wait until the exponent has been trial factored by your slower computer before I started the p-1/LL test. If a factor was found during trial factoring, you could potentially waste a lot of LL work.

Therefore, that is why I would have a couple of exponents on the works. Your LL test computer always 1 exponent behind your factoring computer.
