Tomorrow is when we celebrate the life of Scotland's greatest poet.
I know how to make cock-a-leekie soup (First boil your cock ...) Neeps and tatties are in the fridge ready to be chopped, boiled and then mashed. I have just taken a wee, sleekit, cow'rin, tim'rous beastie from the freezer to defrost. Does anyone have a good recipe for Scottish Pudding*? Both single malt and cooking whisky are in stock. AFAIK, all I need to do now is to check that I can still recite the Tay Bridge Disaster for when dinner is served. * Tartan custard. |
