As requested another P4 Prescott with 1MB of L2 cache. This one is identical to the other except it has an AGP video card instead of PCI. Both dual channel Ram with Geil PC4000 DDR.

Default Xeon w/1 Mb cache

Here's another P4, still with 1 Mb L2 cache.
Side conditions: Win 2003 EE SP1, HT enabled, plenty of RAM, dual-processor machine (with the other cpu performing LL-testing)

Default Out of curiosity...

I've benchmarked mobile P3 1000. The results are fairly consistent exept for the 1024 FFT which gives strange result - I have verified this twice and results are the same.

Does it affect x87 code-path only?

Yes, there is a bug in x87 1024K FFT sizes on machines that do not support prefetching (P2 and earlier). It might affect SoB, but I think they are using 768K FFT sizes right now.

But P3 supports "prefetch"... so how come the error became visible
