Nvidia is about as far from neutral as they come, I hope on that basis alone the deal falls through. However I have zero faith in the UK government to have the sense to put a spanner in the works if they are even in a position to do so. All Nvidia needs to do is promise the barest number of jobs to the UK and no doubt some kickbacks and they'll roll over in a heartbeat.

Also lots of concern in China. The electronics industry of China now relies heavily on ARM-based chips, and you know Nvidia is from the US, so...
