At 20, I had one which would not have turned out well.

Another at 24. In retrospect, she was definitely a keeper. I allowed her to slip away. I guess I was not ready for a drastically altered lifestyle.

Married at 29. That lasted 2 1/2 years. I have a son, who is now 35. He turned out very well. Respectable and responsible. He is the father of my granddaughter who is 11 months old.

There is an old saying about not doing the things you did and doing the things you did not do. I am guilty of both.

I wonder how many people here are in the opposite situation. They have a whole bunch of hobbies and are too busy pursuing them to have a romantic interest in anyone.
