Default Looking for suggestions to improve my multi-computer GIMPS setup

Hello, I am looking for suggestions to improve this setup:

I run mprime on several older computers that I either purchased for very little money, or were given to me. They have no hard drives and share the same screen. I boot them up with Slax (32 bit), a lightweight version of Linux. It runs in text mode only, entirely in memory. I use SSH to access the computers remotely, and rsync to run a nightly backup of the gimps directory in case of a power failure. I have them all on battery backups.

Maybe run Slax-PXE to serve those computers that can handle the kernel over PXE. Would mean having two servers? Or can you deliver a 32-bit kernel from Slax-PXE to those computers that are 32-bit? And a 64 bit kernel to those that are 64-bit capable?
