So, I noticed that the lowest DC was nearing to expire. I recognized the user as a forumite. I sent them a PM. They responded that the machine in question would not return the result in a reasonable time and they kicked it back to PrimeNet. I was able to secure the assignement of the exponet from PrimeNet. It would have finished 17 hours from now (earlier if the machine had not been rebooted while I was away from it.)
But, nooo chuenkit could not wait and poached the exponent. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

BTW chuenkit has been on the forum, but not of late. I sent a PM and didn't mince words. Hopefully that gets an email notification. |

22 to go to 51M.
The 52M will take longer; Ryan Propper has 12 with no progress and 44 days to expiration. 53M this year looks probable. Last fiddled with by kriesel on 2020-06-18 at 22:27 |

Some action should be taken to solve TF assignments blocking from completing current wavefront ~92M, ~51M range. Even Cat 0 assignments wouldn't allow to be assigned so much once and be hold over 1 month without expiration.

BTW, anyone who is feeling anxious about the exponents that Ryan has in the low DC range. I have contacted Ryan and the exponents are being run. Since they are "manual testing" it is likely no progress will be reported until they are done.
Don't Poach. |

I would say, that if assignment is TF and blocking range, simply do the test manually without assignment, no? What's the point in waiting for it...

Both scenarious are bad, both in the short and long run, and it has had that consequence for me on numerous occasions - because I don't like poaching and because this pushing of wavefronts should still leave room for individual users to contribute the way they want, without risk of poaching and loosing credit for due work. The overall goal is n=1G (most likely beyond that), so we have plenty of work available and really no need to poach. Any milestone will and should rightfully be completed in due time, without poaching. |
