BAA meetings

The videos of meetings of the British Astronomical Association are now made freely available to non-members. They go back as far as 2008.

OK, of minority interest but perhaps some of that minority may be reading this post.

I haven't attended any of those meetings but a couple of instances of my work were mentioned, specifically imaging small satellites in the outer solar system.

Thanks for the link- that's good to hear. There are indeed some of us who are more likely to binge-watch a few years of the BAA than Game of Thrones.

Technically I believe it's a Tom Swifty (which form incorporates a pun), but surprised to see Paul swing and whiff at it.

Yes, a Tom Swifty to be sure.

My parents had a book of them. An example: "Lettuce leaf, said Tom crisply."

In theory, I could recite quite a number of them.

In practice, doing so would land me a room in my own establishment.
