I’m still daily commuting to London and delivering UK wide energy performance contract reports to primary schools and academies with presencial meetings but my company hasn’t yet give us a position prioritising work from home. My wife has asthma. I’m also worried because next week will have an important meeting and blood tests for the IVF treatment kickoff through NHS funding but I don’t think we should proceed with the treatment.

Hm... Reading this, we kinda wonder for Wikipedia editor's meeting in August, it will be in Bangkok and we already applied for it (didn't get approval yet, we are small fish, and most probably they wait for sharks to apply first, as the seats are limited). It should be a pity if it will be cancelled, we are eager to meet some of the big guns there...

Not sure what is going to happen for me currently. I am due to start a PhD on April 1st. Will have to see if Liverpool Uni decides to close for a bit. Might end up starting by remote working which would be odd.

My wife is going to have her first PhD review next Monday but so far nothing has been cancelled or video conference setup. I know for example London school of economics cancelled presencial courses.

My current department is in full prep mode in case we have to start working from home. It sounds like there is a strong possibility that that may happen for research staff.

My school just got shut down until April because of COVID-19. Prior a lot of students hadn't been showing up and a couple students started a petition to shut down all schools and community colleges in our city.

Hopefully the warm weather kicks in and puts an end to this epidemic.
