This post is triggered in part as used systems are starting to become "affordable". I've been looking, and based on another forum post on PrimeGrid I'm not alone in noticing this. The question then is how do these systems perform with today's software?
Does the prime95 benchmark run on those systems? I think it is more interesting to see how they do for smaller FFTs, say from 128k to 2M or so would be most interesting. Is there enough performance to make it an interesting choice over either of Zen 2 or Skylake-X/Cascade Lake-X? Last fiddled with by mackerel on 2020-02-23 at 09:43 |
