The first PRP test on this exponent was already completed by Preda more than a year ago; it issued to me as a PRP DC 5 days ago; yet it lists as a cat 0 assignment and expiring in 2 more days on my login's https://www.mersenne.org/workload/ I think it should be a cat 4 PRP DC. See https://www.mersenne.org/thresholds/ It will be several years before the LL DC assignment wavefront catches up to this level. (This DC would be done already except for the RadeonVII/Windows issue. See https://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=24938) I definitely requested the work as a PRP DC manual assignment, for qualifying a newly installed Radeon VII. Probably a miscalculation in the workload web page.
If it actually does expire like a cat 0 assignment that would be a more serious problem. |

Given the high reliability of gpuowl PRP with GEC, a discrepancy or high error rate on a PRP DC should be rare and with high reliability indicate a hardware/config issue. Last fiddled with by kriesel on 2019-11-16 at 16:34 |
