Question Quit mprime after all the work is done

Is there a setting in mprime that can make it exit (as in close the program) after all the work is finished?

I am not talking about not connecting to primenet to get work -- I am not using primenet. I am talking about the "Waiting for work" behavior. Instead of just printing that every hour, the program should close itself. Possible?

I take it from the lack of replies that this is not possible?

No, but it should be. Perhaps George could add this to his ToDo list -- very useful for us Notebookers...

One thing you can do is write a little script which watches the worktodo.txt file, and "killall -INT mprime" when it's empty.

Default Perhaps for the Tools/Options?

Here's a variant then:

In the options area that allows the pull-down for which type of test for the CPU, have one option of, 'None - complete work unit and stand-by.' - or something akin to that.

The reason - I don't want to be one of those that has a dangling entry/percentage, but I'd like the current work unit to finish and stop. I need to move the machine and reinstall some other bits which will take close to a month. (yeah - I know... a month, big deal right? well, maybe someone else can get that Unit done in that time.)

My .25$

Have fun.

It won't terminate the program, but new assignments can be avoided with DaysOfWork=0.in prime.txt ("Days of work to queue up" in prime95 Options, Preferences)
