Which is a quite short test. :P But i agree, we should sort and look out if there are proven prp´s with an certificate; before testing them. I also think its needed to import the TOP PRP page´s prps into FactorDB. This would add some decent amount of prps <20000 dd; plus "many" on "U" numbers. Which brings me back to searching for prp´s in the u list; via allowing to upload PFGW´s results. (only for loged in users). I dont think there many PRP´s, but maybe a few hundrets if we are lucky enough. Just my two cents in here. I might be able to get back into PRP related stuff soon. Would go up to 15K dd alone, and open for cooperations for larger numbers. ^-^ |

There are several dozen 6K-8K dd numbers that are prp cofactors of M(n) -- including composite n mostly -- that I work on myself without much ado. Maybe I'll finally make a post about it one day. Although, paused right now for the summer. The weather is just too hot. |

Well, if you complete this (probable) prime, you can run (91^4421-1)/90 (8659 digits) and 60^4663-59^4663 (8292 digits).

What I'd like to do is have Primo running all the time, but have it take a back seat when CADO-NFS is running. Would it be better to give the CADO-NFS a high priority and Primo a normal priority, or to give CADO-NFS a normal priority and Primo a low one?
It seems the former would be better, because Primo would have a lower priority than all the other processes that are running, but I'm not sure what I would need to do to raise the CADO-NFS priority. Does the priority of child processes retain the nice level of the parent? |

Setting the priority of Primo will filter down to child processes as they spawn. Last fiddled with by paulunderwood on 2019-09-27 at 04:59 |

Looks like we'll eventually be able to run Primo in Windows again, starting sometime next year: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/comma...-with-windows/
Hopefully it'll work. I'm tired of loading up a Linux VM every time I want to do an ECPP test. |

Thanks.
P.S.: Any chance you could tell me what the password is to download the newest Xming release? I don't want to use the 2007 version. |
