Jacobi Error

Just found out on one of the computer running Prime95 produced this error code

[Jul 21 19:33] Iteration: 16490000 / 86030107 [19.16%], ms/iter: 4.197, ETA: 3d 09:04
[Jul 21 19:33] Hardware error have occured during the test! 1 Jacobi error.
[Jul 21 19:33] Confidence in final result is fair.

I digged through result.txt and it seems like Prime95 found the error some 18 hours ago and tried to load the backup file.

Is seems odd that after the error check failed, 3 consecutive backup files failed to be read. Does this usually signify an SSD failure, or is normal after Jacbo check failed.

Considering right now it is at around 20%, is it advisable to abort and restart the test?

For reference, the system has an i7-9700K no OC w/ 4x16GB DDR4-3600MHz.

Likely, the 3 failed backup files all had the Jacobi error. It then rolled back to the save file created after the last successful Jacobi check.

Whether you continue is up to you.

You should upgrade to 29.8. If you do continue the LL, then for the next test switch to PRP testing.

Well I'll continue the test since it did rolled back to the last successful Jacobi check file.

And yes will do. It's time to change all the CPU LL tests to PRP. My computers has all upgraded to 29.8b3/b5.
