Also, srfile isn't going anywhere. I won't make updates to it (barring bug fixes). The intention is that it won't be necessary. I hope to have a "split by n" or "split by k" function in the new software. gfndsieve already has such a feature. I could potentially add a "Sierpinski/Riesel" switch that would auto-add the "number_primes" header to the ABC/ABCD file header.

I will try to get back into creating new sieve files. I have been very busy with RL and other probs to solve recently.
I am very happy that Pepi overtook my part in cooperation with Yoyo. I will get back at it. My recent reservations went fine and gave me many (small, non Top5K) primes. I am very happy and will focus on 100K-150K / 200K. I should also focus a bit on Riesel for now; switching 2 server to only Riesel and 3 for Sierp. Also. I am working on R3, you know which k. n=5M up to 50M is at 4,3T and ready for yoyo@home. This is a huge effort, and it would fit for P=1e16. (and even more...) [I have been very inactive on Slack, PM me for Discord. I use that daily to keep in contact with friends] |

Wow, 50M, that would be very cool in so many different aspects if our stubborn base 3 k, already tested to n=50M, fails to yield a prime. Not only will that make it the first k actually tested to n=50M for any conjecture, but may in fact also be the first (non GIMPs) k*b^n+/-1 k to be tested to n=50M. Anyone please feel free to correct me, in case any other k´s in the vast amount of primesearch projects is actually tested to n=50M. It would be cool in any way if and when a prime is found for our stubborn k, simply because it will be a huge beast that falls hard to the ground - so now everyone pull out your guns and fire at will at this k and help us achieve either a huge prime or a major milestone

For additional sieving up to 1e15 already sieve files are sent to YOYO
S148 S174 S185 S204 S217 S230 S252 S257 S402 S417 So use other sieve files until those ones will be finished! |

It's been a couple months. How is the sieving for S686 and S892 doing? We're needing those for the recommended bases. |
