k*2^n-1 fixed k sieving - what software to use?

Is there a better option other than newpgen to do k*2^n-1 fixed k sieving? I tried downloading a software framework called mtsieve but it doesn't seem to have this functionality. Any other option?

sr1sieve is what you need.


Start sieve with srsieve, and then continue to use sr1sieve.

Can I use it with my old newpgen output files to run sr1sieve or do I need to start completely over? How do I do it if possible? Also can you provide an example command line with arguments? I also keep getting errors on on my values for -p and -P.

You can d/l the latest sr1sieve from here. It can read various input formats. I can't speak for the one that is linked to elsewhere. Since I maintain sr1sieve, this link will be safer than any other link.

srsieve and sr2sieve can be found in the same thread. I do not recommend using newpgen for sieving this form or most other popular forms, such as fixed n sieving, as there are other programs that are much faster than newpgen.
