On two machines only bu3 files but one needs less than 24 hours per exponent and the other about 30, meaning that it is only during the the last 6 hours that a bu4 file would be there. The other machines have their bu3 and bu4 files.

When I stopped a worker, restarted the computer and then the worker, no bu4 was produced. The only bu3 or bu4 file is the "old" bu3 from hours ago.

For me, exactly the same error occurred, but the bu3 and bu4 Files exist. See in attached images. Maybe a software bug??

I'll look into it. Try renaming the save file with the .bu3 version and restarting.

Yes, a software bug. Back up files above .bu2 are not looked at upon resuming an LL test. This will be fixed in 29.4 build 3. I'll make this available very shortly.

If you catch this happening and you still have a .bu3 or .bu4 file from before the failed Jacobi test that is further along in the LL test, stop prime95, rename pXXXXXXX.bu3 or pXXXXXXX.bu4 to pXXXXXXX and restart prime95.

Presumably because the v29.4 thread is more current?
