PM is like texting. It is not always intended to be made public. Unless you rights were violated. Or, conversely - especially if your rights were violated in a very specific manner.

Compare to this: If you got a spam text message on your phone in the middle of the day, you can always choose on the two - you can write to the FCC, to the FAA, to the police, to the Hague Court for Human rights, ... or you can just delete and blacklist. Entirely your choice. We will respect either of these choices.

From my perspective this can be taken more than one way; other ways than you suggest.
Considering the sentence is not grammatically correct one can only guess what he REALLY meant to say.

He could have meant to say: "I am only another idiot". This insults only himself.
and several other interpretations come to mind; some are insulting to others; some to him; some to no one.

I try to NOT jump to conclusions unless I am clear on what the other party truly meant to say.

On the insult scale from "Meh" to "OMGWTF" that one registers about "whatever". It was vague, ambiguous and boring. I think the PM author should try harder next time.

I’ve changed my opinion about Bob. He is a great person. I regularly exchange emails and messages with him related to different topics. I just wish phone calls to USA were more cheaper to be able to speak with him.
