"I have been insulted on the forum by private message" is self-contradictory. If it's in a private message, it's not on the forum, in the sense of being posted in a Forum thread for all and sundry to read. If you hadn't posted about it, none of us would have known.

Sheesh...

If you just put the offender on your Ignore list, then (assuming they're not a moderator), you'll never get a PM from them again.

For future reference, there is a little red triangle you can click to report private messages, similar to the little red triangle for reporting posts. For posts, the triangle is located underneath the user's name and avatar for the post in question. For PM's, the triangle is in the upper right corner of the PM in question. These reports go directly to forum moderators and are never made public.

I don't know if it is a forum usage to hide facts to the public. It was my intention to make the fact public. I do not see any reason for a user to misbehave that way and go undetected.
