I've read in the thread linked by Honza that 32 bit multiply require only one instruction on Turing architecture. So a potential speed boost if Mfaktc is adapted to take advantage of that?

At a 1/32 FP64 ratio, I suspect it would be faster to do the extra steps involved in the equivalent FP32. Especially since FMA is a single instruction now.

Good point. We will have to wait and see. Hopefully it performs well and makes it faster than p100 at least which will be a much better value than titan v.

Whoever gets their hands on a 2070/2080, please be sure to submit some mfaktc benchmarks:

Sure.
Point me to a Windows x64 binary I should run.

I just saw the benchmarks of the 20 series GPU on mersenne.ca. Are those placeholder numbers or actual performance number because it really seems pretty high for the FFT algorithms with that low of DP performance on the 20 series.

Still waiting to put my hands on a Turing family card but THIS makes me excited! Wouldn't be surprised if Turing performs similar to Volta for TF workload!
