Cool! Discovering an interesting star is a bigger deal than you're making it out to be :)
I'm guessing you don't have quite enough light even from the half-metre aperture to be able to measure radial velocities, and I'm not sure that amateur spectrographs have yet reached the point where they can be sensibly remotely operated. |
