Checking all possibilities of setting either 5 "L"s or 5 "J"s in the box I find exactly eight common shapes. All these shapes have a "great" hole inside (three adjacent places).
The computing times are negligible. Has one of you the same problem? |

1) For using "brute force" I need a box in order to have limits of the variables. Apart from that the box is irrelevant. 2) "Translate and rotate but not flip" can be defined with a simple comment, too: The tetromino may be moved just like in TETRIS. |
