Speedy, VictordeHollande reserved that number after you posted the above. In the future, feel free to reserve any numbers that are unreserved.

I see someone has started the remaining c167 from the number ((2^31-1)^33-1)/(2^31-2) under c167_M31_k33 name, its nice to know. I have a couple more high-priority numbers:
one is c174 from M127_k24,
I am running the polyselect using cado right now and would like to queue it for sieving later.

The other is c274 from M61^17-1 which is actually the period of the RNG in my software suite called MIXMAX. It is SNFS-294, but the yield is incredibly low. fivemack told me it is probably hopeless right now, but it sure would be worth it.

I reserved C169_262209281_31 (GNFS, 31 bits) aka:

I do fully understand the confusion with the OPN filenames though!

Whoops, sorry for my confusion. Speedy, go ahead and reserve it.

The computer crapped itself twice during early LA. Maybe there was too much going on the computer at the same time... I let it a bit more in peace the third time.

A GNFS 174 isn’t too difficult an effort for an individual poly search, and the CADO poly tools are excellent but there is also the msieve poly search request thread here if you want additional help.

How much ECM do you estimate it has withstood? Yoyo could bring a lot of power to bear on it. No one with the ability to run a SNFS-294 job would consider doing so without extensive ECM being run first, say through a full t65.

Thank you it is reserved under my name.

So I am clear for the future am I reserving numbers right way it would like me to do it differently? I just copied the number from the left-hand side of the Crunching page
