Default GDDR6 and GIMPS

GDDR6 will supposedly have twice the memory bandwidth of GDDR5: https://extremetech.com/gaming/26238...-upcoming-gpus

What does this mean for GIMPS? Will LL testing and P-1 factoring get a speedup on GPUs?

I would think it would depend on other changes 2/1.5=1.333...; 1/1.333... = 0.75;1-0.75 = 0.25 so if other things that use memory increase bandwidth by 50% you will decrease the number of time getting bottlenecked 25% maximum.
