Slight increase in B1 only = minimal Stage 1 time and same Stage 2 time.
Slight increase in B2 only = no Stage 1 and slightly more Stage 2

Prime95 continues from your last B1 value in the savefiles to the new B1 value, and in the second case it skips stage1 because it resumes from the savefile.

only after it does all the missing exponentiations for all primes lower than B1, that have powers between B1 and B2. Otherwise it will miss factors. In fact, I hope P95 does that, I never analyzed the code, but if it does not do it, then it is wrong, and only the fact that not many people do "extensions" from old Pm1 saved files is the reason that the "bug" was not found yet...
