I was trying to figure out if it was worth the effort to certify a prime and I wondered if there was a table somewhere showing the expected effort needed to do so with some program(s).
Come to think of it, this would be useful for a lot of other things as well -- effort needed to find a factor of a given size with ECM, effort needed to crack a composite with NFS, etc. Does anyone know of a resource like that? Even just a thread? |
