Is it possible to make it produce a sound upon error when stress testing.
Cause i only check every so often, and i could save quite some time if it produces a sound, at least if i am using/near the PC in the meanwhile. Tried checking the source, but not sure how to compile it (bad with the autogen stuff), so thought it better off to just ask here:) |

There is no way to do that.
It is not a bad idea. I'll look into adding it for a future release. |

Ah good, then it means i didn't miss anything obvious.
Thankful for you taken the suggestion to mind, i would personally like to be able to customize the sound it makes (a sound file perhaps), so just throwing that idea in there as well. Thanks:) |

That's actually very funny in the present context, because the repeated-bell escape-sequence string looks like someone screaming "aaa...". Every time your stress test hits an error, think Star Wars: "I felt a great disturbance in the Computing Force, as if millions of tiny transistors suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."
[Yes, George Lucas, awful writer that he is, really did use 'suddenly' twice in the same passage like that. Not that he cares about critiques of his writing, because it didn't keep him from becoming a billionaire.] Last fiddled with by ewmayer on 2017-12-19 at 22:58 |

Edit: apparently that first "in" is actually an "if". Hmm. And all this time I thought it was triply in. Edit: supposedly the "we live in" is "we're living". Hmm. I guess memory is a lie and we can't trust our ears. Last fiddled with by GP2 on 2017-12-20 at 01:13 |

Ha, I sense a rich vein of inanely-redundant-song-lyrics being tapped into here. Not completely o/t either, since after all the thread is about making a joyous (or at least audible) noise unto the Lord (or at least anyone around to hear it.)
