Cool Favorite Math Books.

Crook: Its high time someone mentioned 'A mathematician's Apology' by G.H.Hardy.

Its a must for the shelf of any math'cian worth his salt. Some of his views are way out of date though. Quote/ No one has discovered any warlike purpose to be served by the theory of numbers or relativity, and it seems very unlikely that anyone will do so for many years. /unquote
Still I value it immensely as its a classic in math literature.

Zilman: Paul if you recommend 'The Road to Reality' by Roger Penrose then I will go for it as I have 'Shadows of the Mind' and 'The Emperors new mind'.
I quite agree with his theories and prefer him to Stephen Hawking.
