Dear friends of the GIMPS project,
A friend gave you 10 ATI RADEON HD 4300/4500, id 954F cards, how can you use them? What is the best software? Is it setup ?? |

Those are very old cards. Modern mid-range cards are 50 times faster.
If you pay for electricity or air conditioning, you would be better off buying a brand new card. I would see if you can sell them and put the money towards a better card. If you still want to use them, try mfakto, which can do trial factoring. I'm not sure if it still supports such old cards though. |

Thanks for the answer! I did what you suggested and they are all working normally, the HD4350 boards are taking 4 hours to Trial Factoring.
Although electric energy is expensive here in Brazil, the equipment was on my father-in-law's farm, where I installed solar panels and a Biodigester that turns the excrement into energy for telescopes and computers and I still get about $ 92 a month, in 3 years paid to installation. I am a zealot for prime numbers and in protecting Mother Nature. |

I use some of my less efficient systems in the winter but leave them off in the summer.
