Default Incorrect hyperthreading detected

Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it if it has.

I've just started running prime95 on one of my linux workstations. It's a dual-socket system with a pair of quad-core xeons in it. However, when I run it, it thinks that the system only has 4 physical cores rather than the 8 it really has. This means than when it's running, it only uses half of my physical cores. Is there any way to change this so it uses all the cores in my system?

I am not sure how multi-socket cores get counted. However, if you are using =>V29.1, the following is an example, with lines commented out, in local.txt, sets affinity. This is for a single quad CPU with hyperthreading on, running a single worker with 4 physical cores.

[Worker #1]
Affinity=1,3,5,7
# Affinity=0,2,4,6

# [Worker #2]
# Affinity=3,5,7

Try version 29.1 or 29.2
