A small note:

We have switched from "GD" to "ImageMagick" image processing.

If you see anything weirder than usual, please let us know.

Can the forum be modified to support .7z files? 7-zip compresses text much better than Winzip.

Your wish is our command. (Let us know if it does not work.)

I can remember when 2MB would take 20 minutes to upload. Now it takes 0.1 seconds.

Some of those animated GIFs can get really big!

I thought that somewhere there was an entire thread dedicated to "animated gifs too large to display". But after much searching I haven't found it.

I can't even tell what the cat is trying to do to the hedgehog. Sit on it?

One of my brothers had a pet hedgehog. He lived in Houston, where very large cockroaches (tree roaches) are common. He would let Pigpig the hedgehog loose in the house. She would go around all the baseboards and eat any roaches she found.

Does I need in 21 century to make zip of npg file : and save few kb? :)
I can always rename to npg.txt ; but I dont see reason why txt is allowed and npg is not.

Why on earth would you need to upload NPG files anyway?

Why on earth not? If I decide to sieve some sequences for CRUS ( fo example?)
Why make something simple when you can make complicated

[(heavy]sarcasm] Indeed in the 21st century one does not bother about saving bandwidth, disk space or whatever any more, especially when others pay for it.

Then not limiting the allowed file extensions does not have the least impact on security.[/sarcasm]
