Decided today to get my scope out of storage and on to the BBQ pad at the bottom of the garden. Everywhere here at home is lousy for astronomy but at least that part isn't directly illuminated. The yew trees and the bamboos rather limit the amount of sky visible but there's not much I want to do about that.

Excellent! I wish you many happy pixels!

(looks as if it will cloud up after supper-time tonight, but I'm really happy that you're getting the scope out again!)
