Default LL results are missing from M106033

Can anyone explain why LL results are missing from the history of M106033? The LL table reports 5 results, but only MadPoo's check in both appears in the history and on mersenne.ca.

This is a very small exponent. It was initially tested long before GIMPS or PrimeNet, probably using a Cray.

Some double-checks may have been done subsequently by GIMPS, but either those were done before PrimeNet was set up (and results were handled manually), or they were done when the first version of PrimeNet was being used, and some dates were not transfered to the new system. Maybe those dates could be dug up from log files if it was really important, or maybe not.

MadPoo's 2016 test, I think was just a quick sanity check of every LL result less than 1 million.

With modern computers, doing an LL test on this exponent takes maybe a few seconds, so it's not worth worrying about.

Furthermore, for some exponents done long ago, even the old history logs we recently added in are simply not there (the results are, just not the original log entry).

That one in particular, who knows... it could have come from some non-GIMPS source, or it hearkens back to the days when George would assign work and get results back via email and track it all that way. Those emailed entries do make up a large part of those old logs, but I definitely wouldn't call them comprehensive. I was amazed George still had them after all that time.

Those were the days

I got involved in the project way back in late 96/early 97 from an article in Personal Computer World.

Email was still quite new (over here anyway) back in those days...I emailed George to see if I could take part and the rest is history.
