Adding the [Worker] lines did do the trick transfering the lines properly. If all of them they remain there I will let it know. Thanks for pointing out, I couldn't find any documentation on the worktodo.add option.

In all its wisdom mprime added the following line to worktodo.txt file sometime after the succesful worktodo.add manoeuvre :

DoubleCheck=16981FB71096B3709E224E3CFCXXXXXX,32661053,70,1

According to primenet that assignment is not registered to me but someone else. The line was added somewhere inbetween the other lines.

I will throw it out manually and keep watching the worktodo.txt file. I still think we (or at least I) could use an option to set a single worker to 'manual'.

(This could by the way have caused an undesired and unknowingly case of poaching)

While I was figuring out my manual assignments I also noticed the "reserved to another machine" error which was actually referencing my own machine.

The [worker] that had the lines added through worktodo.add were deleted by mprime today and replaced by a server assigned DC exponent.

So the only option I have now is to get all my assignments manually. I therefore keep my request for the option to set a worker to manual.

Did you have "N/A" or an assignment key for the first argument?

Yes.

The lines remain in the worktodo.txt file, mprime just adds a doublecheck assignment in front of it.

Default Trying to save a new thread....Feature Request

PrimeNet Client: Warning if I try to Unreserve an exponent in progress.

Advanced ...
Unreserve Exponent...

I would like it to generate an "Are you sure?" is the the assignment has already started.

I see two cases for this:
1. Accidentally typing in the wrong exponent.
2. What happened to me yesterday: I am running ECM Fermat on all 4 cores of 1 CPU. Because there are NOT a lot of ECM-F work on, odds are there will be duplicates in your worktodo.txt; some active, some not. I had several LARGER future ECM Fermat assignments that were going to take longer than I had expected. So I decided to Unreserve them....but I forgot to notice that there were also 2 of the same ECM Fermat Exponent in Progress (over half done). BUT all instances of that Exponent were unreserved immediately. Future and In-Progress (AARGH!!!)

Default Recent Cleared: Indicate if FIRST factor.

I like the way the Recent Cleared report tells me which Exponents are Factored.

http://www.mersenne.org/report_recent_cleared/

However, with users like TJAOI and kkmrkkblmbrbk looking for and finding so many factors on exponents in general (with or without existing factors) it is much harder to tell which are NEWLY Factored without clicking on each results for that detail.

Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely nothing against them doing that I'd just like a way to know which are NEWLY factored. Any maybe some are interested in those FULLY factored.

I envision either an extra column on the report
OR
A flag on the Type column for example (F; F-First or F-1; F-Fully of F-F)
OR
A check box to Exclude Exponents with an existing factor.

Thanks
