OK, I've looked all over for this information (except for the source code, but that's not exactly my idea of a good time; no offense, George ;) ). When Prime95 finishes a LL test, the last 64 bits of the LL residue is output into results.txt. But also output is something like WY1, then a colon, then three numbers seperated be commas. For TF or P-1, it's the same thing, but with only one number at the end, not three seperated by commas.
So my question is what is the WY1 for, which could also be a WZ1 or a WU1 or a bunch of other stuff, and what do the one or three numbers following this mean? For the LL test, I think the last of the three numbers is the number of errors during the test, but I don't know about the other two. Thanks in advance for any answers :D |

WY1, or any similar set of the characters is used to show what version of Prime95 was used on the test. I guess if one version is faulty, they can tell which results were effected.
An additional question by me, what is done when the version of the program is changed in the middle of the test? |

I get the same thing basically as NickGlover, where when I switched versions, it doesn't look like the bit was set in the results.

Oops. You are correct. That upper bit is only set when the version number in the save files changes which only happens when the save file format changes.
