In another thread I saw a discussion of the " eMail notification of suspicious/bad results" feature.
I don't see any such feature, in the program or at mersenne.org. Where is it hiding? I wonder what other features are hiding. The request-smallest-exponents and do-one-double-check-a-year settings are "hidden" on /thresholds/, not displayed on Account Settings. Update Account Settings offers me only my password settings and how I am displayed in the hourly reports. (And a checkbox to request newsletters which I've been periodically turning to "yes" and saving, without effect; the last newsletter I got was somewhere about 2008.) Perhaps next time someone is sprucing up the page, it might be a convenient moment to re-gather all of the settings into one place. |

The options you speak about are set for each CPU. you will find them after logging in under "Account/Team Info", "My Account", "CPUs".
There has indeed been no newsletter since 2008...I think the success of this forum has removed the need to send newsletters. But there is no reason to suppress the possibility to send one. Jacob |

I see it now.
But I've been to that page many times before, and it never occurred to me that I'd get customizations for each CPU if I clicked on the CPU name, as opposed to just a list of what work that CPU had done or something. I think that counts as very well hidden. I've learned something new today. |
