Engine-assisted game vs Stockfish, move 1 discussion
Welcome back, chess players! Hopefully, the break since the last game has rekindled interest in this one.
 Per the discussion on this thread: http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=21517, I've started the engine-assisted game against Stockfish. Stockfish 7 will be used, which is 40-50 elo stronger than Stockfish 6 (used in the previous two game versions). Any engine(s) may be used, except for versions of Stockfish more recent than Stockfish 3. I'll donate $10 to the forum if you guys can somehow figure out a way to beat (not draw) Stockfish when it plays as white. I don't think that this can be done. Stockfish's move is 1. e4. The FEN is: rnbqkbnr/pppppppp/8/8/4P3/8/PPPP1PPP/RNBQKBNR b KQkq e3 0 1 Depth: 46 ply. Nodes searched: 604,794,005,386 (~605 G) |
