Here is more detail on that 6.0GHz overclock: http://xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=42655
I just wish Intel would sell a liquid nitrogen cooling system as their new heatsink! lol Seriously, I read in the theinquirer.net, http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=19089, that the P4 will not come out with a 4GHz version. The P4 is dead for more more GHz. The roadmap doesn't seem to disagree. |

I got a 3.4 Ghz Intel P4 w/ EMT64 cheap from Dell. W/ one 1Gb of memory it was only $600 something. The base for this 3.4 processor was only around $500, but I did some upgrades :)

How long until I can get a 64 bit enabled p95? Would that speed things up much? Or only for big numbers? Or maybe just allow me to do bigger numbers. Would it help doing p-1 or ecm on some of the bigger fermat numbers?
