It's not just the stats pages - the whole noprimeleftbehind.net server is unreachable. Gary will have to let us know what's up when he sees this.

Ugh. Very bad timing. I will be out of town for as much as 10 more days. I'll see if I can have a friend take a look at it in the next couple of days. Sorry everyone.

I have sent two different friends over to my house to attempt to get my internet working by unplugging and replugging my modem, router, and cable line. No luck. I will be back next Tuesday. I will have to contact Time Warner when I get back. The last time that this happened there was a faulty external cable that had to be replaced. Something similar may have happened this time.

Our sincerest apologies for the extended outage. We would like everyone to know that we are dedicated to keeping the project moving forward for many years. These temporary outages are just that...temporary.

Reb, I have some sieve files that might help you out till Gary gets the pages fixed. What ranges do you need.

I have planned some 100-200k ranges because all 200-400k are done now. There is still sufficient work for 1-2 weeks.

Short of calling Geek Squad, I have tried everything that I know to try to fix the internet issue. Time Warner came over and they replaced the modem but it made no difference. See more details at http://mersenneforum.org/showpost.ph...&postcount=437.

Try turning DHCP off on your router.

The pages and servers are back up! A big shout out to Max for his tremendous help in fixing all of this. We spent about 2 hours on the phone. Thanks Max!

There was a hard change in my IP address plus we needed to get rid of my old Belkin router.

It could take a couple of hours for the IP address update to propagate completely. For that reason, it may be a little while before you're able to view the pages or connect to the PRPnet servers.

Because of the problem the pages have not been updated in over 2 weeks. I will be working to update them over the next couple of days.

We are sorry for the extended outage.

The server is back online!

Without going into the gory details, we opted to retire the Belkin router and go with the new modem/router combo his ISP gave him. Everything's working now. If you can't connect yet, just wait a couple of hours for the IP change to propagate through the DNS system.

(Edit: jinxed by Gary, who posted at the same time as me!)
