Hello,
ubuntu 64 10.something - anyone know how to change the password for a user? /* EDITED */ Was going to ask on the ubuntu forums after I logged in here but wasn't sure asking here wasn't so inappropriate. Last fiddled with by wildrabbitt on 2016-02-08 at 12:27 |

As the user it is passwd. If it is another user it will be sudo passwd name-of-user

A great unix command is apropos, which searches the whatis database. From there you can use man. So apropos password and then man passwd.
