I have control panel and contacts popup that work from my Secret Menu.

for me the secret menu is like this ( bold are subheadings):

secret menu ->Today's posts, Mark Forums read, Open contacts popup
User control panel ( clickable in mine) ->Edit your details, Edit options,
Miscellaneous -> Private messages,Subscribed threads, your profile

Thanks. But it is not really convenient to have to find this thread each time I want to go to the UCP.

I use different computers on a regular basis. Thanks, but that is also inconvenient. I usually expect websites to be navigable for common things without having to bookmark everything and/or visit specific threads.

When I click it I see a new page with the new menus laid as I stated above:

Note the position of "New Posts" swaps with "Search". Which is a silly and pointless thing to change IMO. And the other silly and pointless change IMO was to remove the "User CP" link!

What I see in the source code of the page is the following :

Since you do not allow javascript, I suppose it is filtered out of the code as you see it. I might be wrong...

Please do not forget that Mike is not a professional vBulletin administrator and that he is struggling with it, especially after updates. And before you ask, yes updates are necessary because of security issues, continuing support, not only to be trendy and to have people spend money.
