Move 14 poll: Everyone vs. Stockfish

I feel like we are not being given enough time before the polls are started. We were promised 7 days per move. We discussed this move for < 3 days and are now given a poll with 3 days to vote. Total...<6 days.

I had posted an involved variation late on the 31st (CST U.S.) with the comment for others to check it out "before MooMoo starts a poll". I just now realized that a poll had already been started before I posted the variation.

This is a particularly tough move. I think we would all appreciate it if we are given 4 days to discuss it before starting the poll in the future. That way we would have a full 7 days to officially make a move.

The original agreement was 3 days discussion, 3 days poll. See:

I did start the poll a bit earlier than 3 days after the discussion (2 days, 21 hours, and 15 minutes, to be exact). In hindsight, it probably wouldn't have mattered if I waited another 3 hours to post the poll since there were no posts in the discussion thread during those 3 hours.

But if you'd like 7 days per move (4 days discussion, 3 days poll), that's fine with me.

No problem. For this move, I'll add an additional 24 hours. It's too late for me to change the poll closing date, but I'll still count moves made 24 hours after the poll closes if you post your choice on this thread. Those of you who have already voted may change your mind by posting here as long as you post before the revised poll closing time.

I was holding off my vote in case anyone had new insights to post, but I was quite ready to vote within the time.

If there really is a consensus to up the originally agreed format of 6 days per move, voting beginning after 3, to a new total of 7 days per move, then perhaps we could establish that now. So far I've seen only Gary express that opinion.

My personal view is that I'd be happy to leave it at 6 days or increase to 7, but I would like it to be consistent for all moves. I don't really think the move now is so difficult that it stands out as any exception: we'll have tougher moves later on. So I'd like a clear time limit which we all keep to every move.

What do others think?

My apologies. I thought it was a week to move similar to all previous games here. I'm OK with leaving it at 6 days per move as in the current format. Thanks for the extra day MooMoo. It looks like we're going to have a fairly clear consensus after all on this move, which I was not sure of earlier.
